Katie Rae and Ally got married on a beautiful summer day at Stone Ridge Hollow in Forest Hill, Maryland. This venue features a stunning barn for the ceremony and reception and views every way you look outside! Ally and Katie Rae grew up in 4-H so it seemed like a suiting venue for them! Their wedding day was full of sunflowers, two beautiful wedding dresses and SO much love from their friends & families!
Initially Ally and Katie Rae met while in 4-H together. It wasn’t until years later that they started dating. What is so fun about their proposal story is that they both proposed to each other at different times! Ally proposed while hiking on a trail and Katie Rae proposed at a friends house. I absolutely love this idea! Together these two enjoy sushi on date nights and hanging out with their adorable pups, Annie & Millie.
This wedding was near and dear to my heart because I went to school with Ally and played field hockey with her. When she asked me to photograph their wedding I was pumped! I then met Katie Rae at their engagement session and was even more excited for their day because we all just clicked. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing these two ladies are together.
