Brooke & Charles | Riverside on the Potomac Wedding Photos | Leesburg Wedding Photographer

Brooke and Charles got married at the beautiful venue Riverside on the Potomac in Leesburg, Virginia. Their fall wedding was full of colorful changing leaves, sunflowers and unusually warm weather! One of my favorite details of their day was Brooke’s amazing wedding dress! Her dress was completely custom! She took the train and sleeves of her mother’s dress and picked out a new top to connect it all too. No one in the world will have a dress like Brooke’s!

Another fun aspect of their day was the first look. Months before the wedding Brooke reached out to me about doing a first look with Charles’ best man. We spent time on the phone hashing out just how we were going to pull it off and in the end came up wit a plan that worked! We did the first touch as planned and then Brooke told Charles that she changed her mind and wanted to see him! We made the switch and Charles was pleasantly surprised to see his best man in a Goodwill wedding dress! The wedding dress was complete with a veil and pit stains! I couldn’t get over how funny this moment was!

After the first look Brooke and Charles had a beautiful ceremony in front of the pond, followed by the reception in the barn. Their evening was so perfect. We ended the evening with . a sparkler send off and a few night portraits! I am so thankful I got to photograph this amazing couples’ wedding. Brooke and Charles are the type of couple that I instantly connect with and love being around. I hope to see them around in the future and wish the best for them in their married life!
