Melanie and Joe tied the knot this past Saturday in Essex, Maryland. Their ceremony was held in Essex United Methodist Church and the reception at the Eastern Yacht Club. The weather we had was amazing for it being the end of January! We were able to photograph all of their portraits outside with a gorgeous backdrop!

Melanie and Joe are another couple that is near and dear to my heart. I first met Melanie when she was a bridesmaid in one of my weddings a few years ago. I then worked with her two more times before their engagement session! Melanie and Joe are SO easy to get along with. They are kind, funny and genuine. The day of their wedding I felt like I was spending the day with old friends! It is truly the best feeling in the world to feel like your job is hanging out with your friends!

My favorite part of their wedding day was the reception. Melanie and Joe had such a fun group of guests who never left the dance floor! The energy in the room was amazing, you’ll see that in the dancing photos! The dinner during the reception was also amazing. The Eastern Yacht Club did an amazing job!
