Jess & Jimmy | Carroll County Farm Engagement Photos

From the first phone call Jess and I shared I knew we were going to have a lot of fun working together. Then, when she emailed me her completed questionnaire and it listed the names of their 25+ pets I knew it was fate! You all should know by now how much I love animals, so this was a great indicator of how much we are alike! 

The Couple

Jess and Jimmy are so much fun! They are lively and so in love. They laugh and smile just by looking into one another's eyes, it is seriously so sweet. One thoughtful thing I learned at their engagement session was the story behind Jess' ring. Jimmy had her ring custom made to withstand all of the work that Jess does with her hands on the farm. One custom detail about the ring is that the diamonds are set lower so they don't get caught on things as easily. I love that he put so much thought into her ring! Jess and Jimmy love spending time together on the farm, four wheeling and just relaxing and watching their favorite shows together. 

The Session

Jess and Jimmy love being outdoors and on the farm, so naturally that is where they chose to do their engagement session! A few days before their session we got a foot of snow. Luckily, by the time we did their session there was still untouched snow around the property! The snow made for some gorgeous winter wonderland photos! We spent their session exploring the property and finding perfect locations for photos. We also managed to get a photo of Jess' ring on her pet chicken's head! Giblet gets a golden star for staying still!

Jess and Jimmy will be getting married on the family farm this October. I can't even imagine how beautiful it is going to look with all of the changing leaves! So until that beauty comes check out some of my favorites from their engagement session!
