Last weekend Tim and I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and George's wedding at the Rock Creek Mansion in Bethesda, Maryland. It was a beautiful day for a wedding, no chance of rain and sunny skies. Laura and George are such a kind couple. When we first met them at their engagement session at the National Harbor earlier this year we fell in love with how soft spoken and calm-natured these two were. Even though wedding days can be stressful, Laura and George retained their calm composure throughout the day! We were very impressed!

My favorite moment on their wedding day was their first look at each other when walking down the aisle. I know I say this a lot, but I can't get over how powerful this moment is! George's face says it all. The tears of joy streaming down his face were so beautiful and I am glad I could capture that moment for these two to revisit for years to come. Another favorite part of mine was the reception. Holy cow was it a lively bunch of guests! From the moment the dance floor opened to the last dance, the floor was PACKED. There was so much love and energy filling the room that you couldn't help but smile.

Tim and I enjoyed being a part of their wedding day and wish them luck in their marriage. We can't wait to watch their relationship grow as a married couple! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Marshall!
